Hi and welcome to my StarCraft 2 Strategy guide about the Terran race and how to play in every match-up!
Probably you are reading this because you want to climb up the SC2 ladder – right now is the perfect moment to become a skilled SC2 player, enter the competitive league and participate in tournaments. There never where price pools a big as they are now.
Let’s begin with the StarCraft 2 Terran vs Terran mirror. This mirror match can be very interesting if both players start with a different strategy in the early game. Scout your enemy early and don’t mind to use a scan or two to find out what your enemy is planning.
Sooner or later both Terran players will start to build their MMM army: Marines, Marauders, Medivacs and some Siege Tanks. The player who has the better line of sight has a great advantage. Aim for the air superiority to be able to scout ahead and shoot at the enemy while he can’t even see your Tanks.
Now, in the popular StarCraft 2 Terran vs Protoss match-up it’s all about scouting and defending against the famous Void Ray rush. Early Void Rays can be devastating when you fail to produce many Marines fast. Never attack with only 2-3 Marines. Gather a dozen before you launch your attack and you will surely win.
And never forget that Protoss often hide proxy Pylons and Gateways close to your base to make a surprise attack!
Let’s head on to the third match-up: The StarCraft 2 Terran vs Zerg match-up. Zerg love to tear down your Wall-in with Banelings if you make this rookie mistake. Do not try to block your ramp with a single line of Supply Depots or the Banelings will obliberate your defense and Speedlings will rush into your mineral line to kill as many SCVs as they can.
